Acting and reporting following appointment by Court, Solicitors or clients to resolve disputes on technical and financial disagreement between the parties.
- Agree Instructions in accordance with RICS Practice Statement and Pre Action Protocols.
- Obtain all documentation and drawings available.
- Site inspection of the building works or defects.
- Meeting to discuss relevant facts/issues with the Contractor and Employer separately to establish evidence.
- Prepare Expert Witness or Single Joint Expert report.
- Compliance with Civil Procedure Rules.
- Meetings with experts and legal advisors to resolve and narrow the issues.
- Attendance at Court Hearing to provide evidence.
